| First BPO Meeting |
 The Prosthetics and Orthotics graduates (Bachalor degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics) plan to meet for the first time. The meeting is scheduled on Friday, May 16, 2008 at Veterans International Cambodia (Kien Khleang Physical Rehabilitation Center) across Chroy Changvar Bridge at 9:30 AM.
The involved persons are:
- To Sichoeun (VIC P&O Mentor)
- Heang Thearith (CT P&O Mentor)
- Thor Phearsa (CSPO Lecturer Intern)
- Samedy Srors (CSPO Lecturer Intern)
- Tep Odom (currently in Sri Lanka)
- Kheng Sisary (currently in Sri Lanka)
Tep Odom and Kheng Sisary will meet online.
The agenda of the meeting will be set during the meeting since this is the first meeting. However, there are proposed agendas, which are as follows:
- Continueing Education or Continueing Professional Development- What should we do in team to learn best? What do we want to learn more as a team based on our assigned post?
- Roles of BSc graduate in assisting the development of our Cat II colleages?
- Where are we heading to? What do we expect as a team in the next 3 years?
- What are the support mechanism required for team development?

| Six Cambodian Receive Degrees in Prosthetics and Orthotics |
Six Cambodian students received prosthetics and orthotics bachelor's degree from institutionss in Australia and Tanzania during a Tuesday graduation ceremony at the Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics. It marked the first time Cambodian students were able to obtain high-level degrees in these subjects from overseas institutions, said Lise Hjelmstrom, project manager at Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, which provided oversight for the students. After a three-year internship, these students will be positioned to assume teaching jobs at CSPO - which will eliminate the need for expatriate teachers, she said.
An additional 12 students, five of whom are Cambodian, received CSPO deplomas, raising the total of CSPO graduates to 122 since the school's establishment in 1997, said Mary Scott, country director for Cambodia Trust, which runs CSPO. Social Affairs Ministry Secretary of State Ung Tea Seam, who spoke at the graduation, said there were 208 amputations from landmines in the first half of 2007, as well as 1,768 motor accidents leaving 407 people severely injured.

| 7th National Prosthetics and Orthotics Congress |
Dear Colleagues.
Cambodian Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (KHAPO) hold National Prosthetics and Orthotics Congress annually with an aim of exchanging information, knowledge, experience as well as technology in prosthetics and orthotics.
We are proudly to announce that 7th National Prosthetics and Orthotics Congress will be held on 21-22 December 2007 in Kratie Province which is on the northern part of Cambodia. The process of congress will last for two days full of various activities. There will be presentations from various rehabilitation centers across the country.
